Working with the Tablet PC

NFC (Near Field C ommunication) and Android Beam

You can transfer the screen content directly by approaching the NFC

sensors of NFC-compatible devices.

Activating NFC and Android

Beam

► To u se Android Beam, ﬁrst set the Android Beam fu nction to ON.

► Go to All Apps,selectWir

eless & Networks – Next... and activate NFC. Then select

Android Beam and sw itch

it to ON in the top right corner.

Android Beam is not su pported by s ome applications. The data that is sent or

received depends on the application.

Data transfer is not secure on all Tablet PCs equipped with Android Beam.

Transferring contents via NFC / Android Beam

► Activate Android Beam on all systems.

► O pen a website or card which you wish to transfer to the other system.

► Bring the NFC sensors on the two systems close to ea ch other.



When the systems have detected e ach other, a signal will sound, the screen content of the

transmitting device will be zoomed out and a prompt to Tap for transfer will appear.

► Tap on th e screen content to transfer it to the othe r device.



The content of the transmitting device is transferred and appears on the

monitor of the receiving device.

When the battery is being c harged, or if the Tablet PC is connected via the

micro USB port, NFC and Android Beam are not suppo rted.

If the NFC mark cannot be scanned even with it held close to the compatible device,

lift the devic e slightly or move it forw ards /bac k w ards or left/right.

In some cases, the NFC senso r cannot be detected if there is a metal object

between the sensor and the compatible device. Please also note that a pocket or

cover for your Ta blet PC can impair communication capabilities.
