► U nder All Apps, select the option Settings.



The following options are available in the Device area:

Option Description

Sound and Vibration

Here, you can adjust the volume (for alarms, messages, music, videos,

games and other media), ringtones and vibration alarms, as well as the

microphone function and the Distinct To uch function.

• Distinct Touch :

Here, you ca n set whether touches should be conﬁrmed by vibration. To

set the vibration strength for Distinct Touch, select Vibration strength.If

Strong/normal is selected, the Tablet P C will vibrate at the s et level when

you tap or scroll the screen. If Weak is selected, vibration only occurs

when yo u tap on the screen, but not during scrolling.

• Improved sound quality for IP te lephony:

Set whether Improved sound qu ality for IP telephony should be used:

• When making telephone calls through an application that uses

IP technology, the sound quality may be worse th an that of a

conventional telephone call. This funct ion reduces interference and

echo for the callers based on sound quality.

• With some applications, this function may not have any positive

effects. In this case, d is able the function.

• The function does not work on calls via Bluetooth.

Display

Here you can set the b rightness, ba ckground, automatic rotation, time until

energy saving mode and font size as well as intelligent colour adjustment.

Ambient light sensor

The ambient lig ht sensor adapts the brightness depending on the ambient

light. You can enable and disable automatic brightness in the Brightness

menu.

The ambient light sensor enables automatic adjustment of the s creen

colours according to the ambient light (intelligent colour adjust m ent).

Sensor for recognis ing the screen orien tation

The sensor recognises the orientation and changes the screen display

accordingly. You can activate or deactivate automatic rotation of the screen

display v ia a check box Automatic screen rotation.

Multimedia

Start the Dolby Digital Plus application.

Memory

SD card

Rech

argeable battery

Shows the battery status, the battery charge and battery usage data, as

well as a list of applications and their power consumption as a percentage.

In addition, you c an start the Battery Doctor app, which displays applications

that affect battery usage, such as applications that work in the background

in energy saving mode.
